We went out to Sauvie Island today and picked some marionberries and blueberries. There were some raspberries but they weren't very good, so we left them on their trees. Not sure if there was other fruit we could have picked. While walking from the marionberries to the blueberries we witnessed a wedding about to take place. They have this giant oak tree that people get married under. Very sweet. The wedding party drove up in a VW bus. Again, very sweet. Later we heard clapping and cheering. Yay for pretty outdoor weddings. Here are some pictures. Sometimes it's hard for me to believe we live in such a beautiful place. And just across the way there is a river.
