Day 10: Ran 2 miles

Jogged 1 mile this morning.

Then jogged another mile this evening with R.

THEN we went out and checked out this space at a community garden. Some friends of R's are moving to the east coast. We are going to take over the spot! Sweet. The coolest of it all is they have already started:

• strawberries
• zuchhini
  
• acorn squash
• sunflowers
• lavender
• mint
  
• basil
• 3 different kinds of tomatoes
• green peppers
• anaheim peppers

and probably much more. expect some pictures once we take it over. yay! i think it'll be fun to get out of the house for some gardening.

oh and this saturday i'm really looking forward to 'gardening against hunger.' they have this really cool program that gives the harvest from community gardens around town to shelters. 2 times a month they bring in volunteers to help tend to the gardens. i am going out this saturday. sweet.
